Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information YourSiteWithAI.dev collects, why, and what we do with it. We only collect what we need to run the service, and we don't sell personal information.

1. Information we collect

If you have an account

• Account details: your email address and your password, which is stored only as a secure hash, never in readable form.
• Chatbot settings: your API keys, key names, bot name, greeting message and the instructions you give your chatbot.
• Usage records: for each chat message, the time, the API key used, the number of tokens processed, the response time and whether it succeeded. We use these for your dashboard and for plan limits.
• Payment records: the plan, amount, date, Ko-fi transaction ID, your reference code and the email address you paid with. We never receive your card or PayPal login details; Ko-fi and PayPal handle those.

If you chat with a chatbot

This covers visitors to our customers' websites and to our demo. Messages you type are sent to our server so the AI can reply. We do not save the content of chat conversations. Messages are processed by the AI model on our own server and are not sent to any other AI company. Each website that uses our widget may have its own privacy policy for its visitors.

Technical information

Our server briefly handles your IP address to protect the service, for example to limit repeated sign-in attempts. We keep this only in memory, and it is cleared when the server restarts. We use one cookie to keep you signed in to the dashboard. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use information

• to run the service, answer chat messages and show your dashboard;
• to apply plan limits and activate plans when you pay;
• to send password-reset emails you ask for;
• to prevent abuse and keep the service secure.

3. Services we rely on

• Cloudflare carries traffic to and from our website. Cloudflare privacy policy

• Google Fonts provides the fonts on our pages, so your browser contacts Google when loading them. Google privacy policy
• Our email provider delivers password-reset emails.

4. How long we keep it

We keep account, settings, usage and payment records while your account is open. Backups of our database are kept for up to 30 days. Payment records may be kept longer where needed for accounting or disputes.

5. Your choices and rights

You can change your chatbot settings and delete API keys at any time in the dashboard. Deleting a key also deletes its usage records. To get a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account, message us through our Ko-fi page. Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, and we will honour them.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed, the site is served over HTTPS, and API keys are only shown to their owner. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

7. Children

The service is not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
